Fiction ProjectI just came across another oldie but goodie that I thought might be good to share with you – in 2011 I took part in The Fiction Project organised by Art House Co-op, a global project to create a piece of original short fiction and write it up in a blank sketchbook that is sent out.

Rather than simply writing it out, I decided to take a typographic approach to it to put across the sense of place, and the characters’ personalities and emotions. And as my story is set across 3 time periods (1890, 1950 and 2000), I chose to use typefaces suitable to each era as much as I could.
